The 2016 US presidential elections: examining the past and present of Russian disinformation campaigns

Here's a project I worked on with two close friends, Olivier Clément and Gabriel Kaiser. This was an assignement for our "Intelligence in War Studies" class in 2017-18, which asked us to write a 5000-word report on a topic of our choice.

We chose to examine the Russian interference in the 2016 US elections from an intelligence analysis point of view. We attempted to gather a list of academic sources to examine the continuity between Soviet propaganda methods and institutions and modern techniques on social media.
